Today’s Legal Enlightenment (Monday, April 18, 2022) – “OPPOSITION TO THE EXECUTION OF CIVIL DECISIONS”

Judex Facti has acted wrongly because it has formally accepted the opposition lawsuit (verzet) filed by the Opponent on 26 November 1984, even though the civil case decision being opposed was executed on 13 November 1984. According to Supreme Court, the Opponent did not have the right to file a verzet against a case whose decision has been executed. However, there is still an opportunity if they wish to file a new civil suit regarding this matter.

Supreme Court Decision No. 1157 K/Pdt/1986 dated November 30, 1987
