Today’s Legal Enlightenment (Thursday, March 24, 2022)- “ATTORNEY GENERAL CAN FILE A CIVIL CLAIM RELATED TO REPLACEMENT MONEY”

In corruption case, the payment of replacement money is a legal obligation of the convict. If the obligation is not fulfilled, it is seen as an unlawful act because it is contrary to the legal obligations of the convict. Therefore, the prosecutor as an attorney general can file a civil claim.
