Today’s Legal Enlightenment (Saturday, November 20, 2021)-REGARDING MORTGAGE REGISTRATION
In a dispute related to the Credit Agreement made abroad as outlined in a Notary Deed abroad, the Supreme Court based its decision on Article 1173 of the Civil Code that Debt Agreement made abroad cannot be registered for mortgages on goods located in Indonesia except in a treaty is held otherwise.
