Today’s Legal Enlightenment (Wednesday, 05 October 2022) – EMERGENCY AND OCCASIONAL DEMAND FACTORS CAN DRIVE THE BIRTH OF A GOVERNMENT REGULATION

The Supreme Court rejected the application for judicial review of the Government Regulation of the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) submitted by the Central Board of the Indonesian Advocates Association. One of the considerations of the Supreme Court in its decision was “emergency and occasional demand factors that prompted the birth of this Government Regulation as a delegated legislation sourced in Article 37A of Law Number 10 of 1998….., reasoned to be accepted as one of the solutions that cannot be avoided.”
