A non-Muslim wife who is left behind by a Muslim husband is not an heir, but she is entitled to a mandatory will from her husband’s inheritance as much as a portion of the wife’s inheritance.

The term mandatory will can be seen in Article 209 paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Compilation of Islamic Law.
