Today’s Legal Enlightenment (Saturday, December 4, 2021)-THE MERGING OF PRIVATE AND PUBLIC LEGAL ENTITIES AS DEFENDANTS IN ONE LAWSUIT CANNOT BE JUSTIFIED

A civil lawsuit directed against a private legal entity (PT ESEI) cannot also be addressed to a public legal entity (the State c.q. the Government of the Republic of Indonesia), even though there is an ownership relation. The merger will cause confusion in the execution of the decision because each legal entity has a different legal status
