THE SALE AND PURCHASE OF MARITAL PROPERTY LAND

The appeal petitioner (buyer) argued that they were a buyer in good faith because the sale and purchase were carried out before a notary. However, the Supreme Court opines that because the object of the disputed land is marital property, and there was a court decision canceling the sale and purchase deed based on this matter, the petition must be rejected.
