Today’s Legal Enlightenment (Monday, 03 October 2022)-EXPRESSING FEELINGS IN THE FORM OF COMPLAINTS DURING TREATMENT IS NOT AGAINST THE LAW (PRITA MULYASARI’S CASE)

That expressing feelings in the form of complaints about what has been experienced during the treatment process, both in the form of services during hospitalization or other medical actions while in the hospital, as outlined in an email and then disseminated via email to the email addresses of friends cannot be seen as an unlawful act. That action is also not an insult because it is not intended to attack a person or an institution, but factual information about a person’s experience with a medical service. Email is a communication that is personal and closed, and only certain people can access and read it. Thus it is not a public medium where everyone can open and read it like other public media.
