“THE WIFE’S PRENUPTIAL PROPERTY CANNOT BE CONFISCATED FOR THE DEBTS OF THE LATE HUSBAND”

The responsibility of the heir to the debt of the inheritor is only limited to the amount or value of the inheritance (Compilation of Islamic Law Article 175 paragraph 2). The wife’s prenuptial property cannot be confiscated as security for her late husband’s debt because it is not an inheritance from her late husband.
