DETERMINATION OF THE STATUS OF EVIDENCE
Determination of the Status of Evidence of Firearms and Ammunition
- To determine the status of firearms or ammunition evidence, the panel of judges may hear testimony from weapons and ammunition experts from the local TNI Equipment Service.
- If the firearms and ammunition can no longer be used, the Panel of Judges, in their decision, states that the evidence was confiscated for destruction.
Determination of the Status of Vehicle Evidence whose Owner is Unknown
Evidence of motorized vehicles resulting from the crime of theft or buying stolen goods is not justified in being confiscated by the state
for reasons unknown to the owner. The Panel of Judges must declare that the evidence is returned to the rightful person.
