“A MARRIAGE AGREEMENT CAN BE MADE BEFORE, AFTER, OR DURING THE MARRIAGE”

Amendments to the Provisions Post Constitutional Court Decision No.69/PUU-XIII/2015:

Previously, a marriage agreement could only be made before or at the time of marriage. Now, they can also be made during the marriage.
A marriage agreement, initially valid from when the marriage took place, can now also apply from when the husband and wife agreed upon.
A marriage agreement, which initially could only be changed by both parties, besides being amendable, can also be revoked by both parties as long as there is an agreement to change or revoke from both parties and
the change or revocation does not harm a third party.
