TWO KINDS OF CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES IN CIVIL CASES
In civil cases, there are two types of claims for damages, namely:
- Claims for material damages in the form of losses that were actually suffered and can be calculated based on the amount of money.
- Claims for compensation for immaterial damages, namely losses suffered as a result of unlawful acts that cannot be recovered and or cause temporary loss of enjoyment of life, fear, pain and shock that cannot be calculated in terms of money.
