Fredrik J. Pinakunary
Founder and Partner
Fredrik Jacob Pinakunary is the founder and partner of Fredrik J Pinakunary Law Offices. Fredrik is a strong litigator and has been practicing law for more than 20 years, with the main focus in Civil and Commercial Litigation.
Prior to establishing Fredrik J Pinakunary Law Offices, Fredrik has established an outstanding reputation lawyer for careful preparation, attention to detail, and zealous advocacy in the interests of his clients. Fredrik is heavily involved in a number of high profile cases and he has distinguished winning story in defending many large national and international companies/institutions in the Indonesian courts. Cases handled by Fredrik included TIME INC Asia against former President Soeharto. In addition, Fredrik represented multinational companies in various civil lawsuits in Indonesian courts such as EXXON Mobile, Conocophillips, Total E&P, RIO TINTO p.l.c. Ingersoll Rand.
After establishing Fredrik J Pinakunary Law Offices, Fredrik continued the trust he had built and remained trusted by multinational companies and the world’s big law firms to handle cases faced by their clients in Indonesia.
The most recent case handled by Fredrik is related to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia lawsuit against PTTEP Australasia and PTTEP relating to pollution in the Timor Sea, where he advises and represents PTTEP Australasia and PTTEP in a lawsuit in the Central Jakarta District Court.
In addition to oil and gas, Fredrik also handles cases in aviation, environment, criminal, labor and industrial relations matters. In the field of aviation, Fredrik experienced in handling airline companies such as Etihad Airways, Mandala Airlines, and Air Asia in civil lawsuits in Indonesian courts.
Fredrik highly values Integrity and applied it in his business. Besides Integrity, he values Knowledge and Reliability, in doing his work. Besides practicing as a lawyer, Fredrik also active in non-profit organization such as Indonesia Christian Legal Society, which he also serves as the chairman from 2017 until now. Fredrik has been invited to teach for several workshops organized by several universities and government institutions. He has been selected out of many litigation lawyers in Jakarta and invited by the Judicial Independence Assessment and Advocacy Institute (Lembaga Kajian Advokasi untuk Independensi Peradilan) to share his experiences and opinions in connection with the establishment of the Indonesian Judges Code of Conduct.
Fredrik is also a keen writer. His works have been published in Kompas Daily and the prominent legal website in Indonesia, hukumonline.com.
Daniel Fega Juliansha, S.H.
Daniel Juliansha is a Law Graduate from Faculty of Law Universitas Pelita Harapan. Majoring in Business Law, Daniel is experienced in handling corporate cases including but not limited to conducting due diligence, legal research, and corporate transactions. Daniel is an enthusiast in Business and Information Technology Law. Besides legal experience, Daniel was also an active member of the Student Press and Debate Community in the respective University.
Before joining Fredrik J Pinakunary Law Offices, Daniel was a corporate lawyer in a notable Corporate Law Firm in Jakarta, acquiring various experiences in handling corporate transactions and had assisted clients in the procurement of legal documents.
Daniel speaks English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Suhendra, S.H., M.M.
Suhendra was born in Jakarta in 1971. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Law in 1997 from the University of Indonesia and completed his Master’s Degree in Business Management in 2003, also from the University of Indonesia.
Suhendra joined Fredrik J Pinakunary Law Offices in 2023. He mostly handled corporate cases, specifically in the Banking and Finance sector. Before joining Fredrik J Pinakunary Law Offices, Suhendra worked as a Paralegal in highly reputable law firms in Jakarta. However, his most notable experience was working in one of the biggest State Owned Bank in Indonesia. He started his journey in the State Owned Bank as the Branch Supervisor at the Medan branch and continues to become Legal Advisor at its headquarters in Jakarta. He has handled various legal sectors, such as handling General Corporate Legal, Litigation, Corporate Loan, Retail Loan, Procurement of Goods and Services (including Hardware and Software IT), Mortgage Loan/KPR including payment scheme with real estate company, and Auto Loan/KKB including payment scheme with leasing company.
Suhendra earned an Advocate License in 2021. He also passed the Banking Risk Management Competency Exam Level I and II. He is fluent in English and Bahasa.
Regina Fraulein Sinuraya, S.H.
Co-Founder
Regina Fraulein Sinuraya is the co-founder of FJP Law Offices with a law degree from Universitas Trisakti. Regina is experienced in Civil Law, Property Law, and Family Law. Besides law matters, Regina also involved in handling clients as well as negotiations and provided legal services. Apart from commercial matters, Regina is also passionate in provided legal aid and an activist for animals.
Regina is fluent in English and Indonesian.
Joice J. Siagian, S.H.
Associate
Joice is not a new face in this firm. She was with Fredrik when he established this firm on February 1, 2008. However, for some domestic affairs, she was not active in the firm for some years. Now, she is back to the field.
She graduated from Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, majoring in International Law in 1999. Prior joining this firm, she worked at some prominent law firms in Jakarta.
She has obtained another degree from Universitas Terbuka, an online system- university owned by the government. She obtained a degree in English Literature, majoring in Translation. She is also an active English translator at freelance. For her being a lawyer and a translator is the way to give great contribution for the society.
