CREDITOR’S POLICE REPORT TO DEBTOR IS NOT AN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY

A creditor feels disadvantaged because his receivables are not paid and the debtor gives the blank Bilyet Giro then report to the police. The court decided that the debtor was released from lawsuits. Because of that, the debtor filed a civil lawsuit regarding defamation. The Supreme Court rejected the debtor’s claim because of the action of the creditor who submitted the debtor to the police is not an unlawful act.
