A person who give or promise money to soccer players with the intention of persuading them to do something to make their own team lose by adjusting the score of defeat according to the wishes of the giver of the money, then if the act he persuaded was really done by the player, then the act is contrary to the player’s obligation to uphold the sportsmanship of football. This act can be qualified as a criminal act of bribery as stated in Article 2 of Law Number 11 Year 1980.
