According to the Supreme Court, the High Court was mistaken in its consideration stating that the Lhoksumawe branch of Bank Duta was only a branch of the Central Bank Duta, and thus did not have the legitimacy of persona standi in judicio, EVEN THOUGH THE BRANCH OFFICE WAS AN EXTENSION OF THE HEAD OFFICE. THEREFORE, BANK BRANCH CAN BE SUED AND SUE.
