Prof. Subekti explained that Cessie is the transfer of credit rights or the replacement of an old debtor, called a cedent, with a new debtor, called a cessionary.
The responsibility of the cedent does not shift because a Cessie Agreement is based on bad faith from the creditor. Agreements contrary to propriety will be void, as evidenced by the existence of manipulation in making credit agreements and sales-purchase agreements of receivables.
