Today’s Legal Enlightenment (Sunday, March 27, 2022) – “THE AUTHORITY OF THE SUPREME COURT IN DETERMINING CRIMINAL SANCTIONS”
The Supreme Court can improve the severity of the criminal sanctions imposed on the Accused which is the authority of Judex Facti, when the sentence imposed on the Accused is not commensurate with his actions, both in terms of educative, corrective, preventive and repressive measures, and does not provide a deterrent effect.
