GRANTS MUST FOLLOW THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1320 BW CIVIL

A grant is a part of contract law and is classified as an agreement to give or hand over something in their lifetime, as stipulated in Article 1314
paragraph (1), Article 1666 to Article 1693 BW. Because it is classified as an agreement, it must comply with and follow the provisions of Article 1320 Civil Code. If the grant is invalid, the deed or agreement made based on the ownership of the grant object
must be declared null and void.
