Today’s Legal Enlightenment (Friday, April 15, 2022) – “THE COURT GRANTED THE REQUEST FOR SEIZURE OF 20 KG OF GOLD”
The court granted the request of the Attorney from VISI LAW OFFICE, the Attorney of the Ponzi Scheme victim, to place the seizure of 20 kg of gold transferred by the Accused to another party. In the application for security seizure, VISI LAW OFFICE uses the basis of Article 227 HIR, Article 1131 of the Civil Code, Actio Pauliana’s argument which is referred to in Article 1341 of the Civil Code. According to Rasamala Aritonang from VISI LAW OFFICE, this will be an important milestone in the application of Article 98 of the Criminal Procedure Code in criminal trials.
